We have the privilege to have the amazing world class photographer and allround wonderful person, Mieke Boynton zoom in to the meeting and talk about 'Abstract' photography. As this will be the competition topic for October. Don't miss this one.
Also Darryl Whitaker, another fantastic photographer (and video-grapher) will come to the club as a judge. He will discuss the results of the August club competition titled 'Power of Nature'.
Competition Due:
SEPTEMBER – REFLECTIONS (Digital)
Make use of reflection to tell your story and highlight the key element of your image. Reflections on water, using mirrors, glass, a shiny surface, sunglasses. Doesn't matter what is reflected or how as long as the reflection is the highlight of the image.
Competition Return:
AUGUST – POWER OF NATURE (Print)
Capture the raw, powerful, and often dramatic aspects of natural events, like storms or other extreme weather, to evoke a sense of awe in the untamed power of nature.

Darryl Whitaker will be at the club to discuss the results of this competition. There will also be a 'member/people's choice' as this is a print competition. Make sure you cast your vote with a token.
